The IAC
Where are you in London?
We are at 190 Fleet Street close to the junction with Chancery Lane. There are 15 hotels within 500m of our building, many of which we have preferential rates with and we are within walking distance of many of London’s leading landmarks and attractions.
What are your opening times?
Our reception is officially open between 9.00am-5.00pm but more commonly we are running cases between 7.00am-9.00pm.
We are closed overnight (9.00pm-7.00am) and at weekends unless by special arrangement.
Do you have a rooftop that can be used for events?
Our 6th floor rooftop and lounge faces due south and the views from east to west cover St Paul’s and the City, the Temple, the London eye, St Clement Danes and the Royal Court of Justice. We can cater for up to 120 people for drinks and canapes and are open all year round.
Do you have separate access for VIPs?
We have VIP access through our car park (located at the Fleet Street end of Chancery lane) and then up to the require floor in a dedicated lift.
Can we park at the IAC?
We do have limited parking on a first come first served basis.
Are you Covid-safe?
We closely follow government guidelines. Our staff test daily before leaving home, sanitise regularly, wear masks in the common parts and adhere to social distancing. Our premises are deep cleaned twice a week. We would ask anyone attending a hearing at the IAC to take a lateral flow test before arrival and everyone entering the building is temperature checked.
What are your catering arrangements?
We provide a continental breakfast of pastries and fresh orange juice, tea and coffee throughout the day as well as a freshly stocked fridge full of mineral water, a variety of soft drinks and an assortment of snacks, in each room or suite, all free of charge. We can provide an attractive buffet lunch at £30 per person or should you prefer, you are welcome to arrange delivery of your own food.
Can you shred or return documents to us?
We can arrange secure shedding or the delivery of documents globally.
Is it possible to securely store papers at the IAC prior to, pre or post hearing?
We have secure, stand alone, storage facilities on the premises.
Rooms
How secure are the rooms?
Your individual swipe card is the only way your room can be accessed. In addition, it will give you access to the lift, the floor you are on and the communal 6th floor.
Are your rooms air-conditioned?
All rooms and common parts are air-conditioned with a system that expels air and pumps fresh air in, rather than filter it.
Do your rooms have windows that open?
Our windows open in every room at the IAC save for the arbitration room on 3rd Floor.
Do you have secure printing and copying available?
Our printing is totally secure. If you are using the break-out suites on 3rd and 4th floors you have a dedicated printer and copier in your rooms. If you are on the 2nd floor you can only access your printing once logged in at the printer.
What about Wi-Fi speed?
We have WPA3, the latest generation of Wi-Fi security with speed of 100Mbps upload and download for fast file sharing.
Do you charge to set up the arbitration on the day before the start?
If your rooms are not in use the day beforehand you are welcome to set up at no additional cost. If you wish to set up on the day, again, there is no cost for early access.
Can we hire equipment from you?
You can hire equipment from the IAC, but if you have a personal laptop, you will need little else.
