Established in 2019, the International Arbitration Centre is the independent, dedicated venue in the heart of London, dealing with in-person, hybrid and virtual Arbitration, Mediation and Adjudication, as well as hybrid litigation in domestic and international courts where we provide a secure, confidential and efficient platform for dispute resolution.
Our personable, efficient, diverse and multilingual staff work tirelessly to ensure the IAC experience is a stressless experience for all its attendees, and an exemplary model for the very best in hospitality.
In addition to the many virtual hearings we host, our three floors of arbitral rooms and suites cater for every type of hearing, from large complex hearings in our Strand Suite where the arbitration room seats 80 and the breakout rooms 25 people per party, to smaller build-your-own options where you can choose the size and number of the rooms you need. We can stream hearings to any of our working rooms, with the assurance of an excellent on-site network and audiovisual support.
We understand that our global clients have different needs and requirements and we work with them to achieve solutions from our spacious location in Fleet Street
We are communal and easy to work with. We look forward to assisting you in the near future.

Booking the IAC
Making a booking at the IAC is straightforward. Enquiries can be made to Julian Hawes, our Director of Business Development, by email at julian.hawes@int-arb.com or by telephone on +44 (0)7768 614183 or +44 (0)203 928 7288 where you will get an immediate response regarding availability.
We are content to hold provisional dates in the short-term prior to the terms and conditions being signed. Once done, we will provide a deposit invoice. The remaining fees are then structured in tranches to be paid within 30 days, or if booked close to the hearing, then prior to the start date.
In advance of an in-person hearing our operations team will speak to you about set-up, start times, dietary requirements etc. and if virtual then we will work with you to ensure the clients and experts go through testing and explain about the system so that when it comes to the hearing, being virtual is second nature to them.
Virtual Hearings
We charge a flat fee of £2000 per day for use of the virtual online facility. This fee includes three group training sessions, one for each party and one for the arbitrators. Should anyone need additional one-to-one tuition we would charge £100 per half an hour or £175 for a full hour. As arbitrators, clients and experts are now sophisticated users of virtual platforms the testing does not take long but we like to ensure the individual is comfortable with the technology, can be seen clearly and has the mic at a good setting for the hearing. The IAC technician who does the training will be the same person that remains with you throughout the virtual hearing getting you started, labelling attendees and bringing individuals in and out of the hearing screen as required.
The system is designed around a two layer secure platform. Access to your Zoom links is gained by pre authorised registration, a password protected dashboard and 6-digit pin. The virtual hearing room offers a screen focused on tribunal, advocates, experts and witnesses. Clients and multiple support lawyers can attend the hearing and remain off screen at the back of the hearing room. Access can be granted if required. This makes for a user friendly platform that includes a universal countdown clock plus one click access to your breakout room and the hearing room. Imbedded links to your chosen transcription or evidence projection provider provide a one stop shop to all of your online hearing requirements. We can record the arbitration following written confirmation from all parties. The download is then available through a link which expires 30 days after the conclusion of the hearing.
We would ask that all attendees have a screened device with camera, sound and microphone capabilities, a good Wi-Fi or hard-wired connection and the latest version of the Zoom app. In addition a headset is preferable. We have access to all of the main platforms.
